review: silver lake farmers’ market

i cannot think of any better activity on saturday morning than to hop on my bike and ride over to the silver lake farmers’ market. it’s on the smaller, cozier side, but packed full of anything you would need.

there is the tomato lady, the guy that makes hummus fresh every morning, my friend laura that sells grapes, plums, nectarines, pluots and peaches for sweet tree farms, coffee, bread, orchids, music, clothes, soap and more.

if you don’t want all the hubbub of the hollywood farmers’ market, and you live in hollywood, silver lake or echo park, the charm and community of the silver lake farmers’ market will most likely win you over

it’s every saturday morning 8am-1pm, where edgecliffe dr and griffith park blvd intersect sunset blvd.
